About The Grant

The Whole Foods Market Store Giving program is led by a network of our team members across the company who are empowered to address the needs within their local communities. The program aligns to Whole Foods Market’s higher purpose of nourishing people and the planet.


We provide financial support biannually for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations focused on food access, environmental stewardship, or other closely related needs. 


Organizations can apply for consideration through Whole Foods Market’s Community Engagement Portal. 

Requirements

  • We donate to registered US 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, registered Canadian charitable organizations, and UK charitable incorporated organizations. All applicants must be able to demonstrate verified nonprofit status. 


  • Donations must be designated to non-profit program support in communities that surround our stores and align with Whole Foods Market’s Core Values.
