About The Grant
The Tina Hills award recognizes a non-profit organization that is distinguished by its trajectory and extraordinary contribution to improving the quality of life in Puerto Rico. Additionally, the award recognizes the excellence in programs and services provided and the leadership of the organization in the Third Sector.
The award is awarded annually to an organization dedicated to Education, Art and Culture, or Social Well-being that has distinguished itself by the provision of extraordinary and exceptional services, as well as for their commitment to the Third Sector in its search to improve quality of life in Puerto Rico.
The prize is $200,000 for the winning entity and $20,000 for each of the three finalist entities.
Requirements
Nonprofit organizations, incorporated and registered with the Department of State of Puerto Rico, focused on the following areas: Education, Art and Culture, and Social welfare.
Five years or more of incorporation offering uninterrupted service.
Full-time executive director and a board of directors consisting of a minimum of 5 members.
Organizations located and providing services in Puerto Rico.
