About The Grant
The Charles and Joan Hermanowski Family Foundation is dedicated to improving and transforming the lives of children and young adults living in the United States. We hope to provide them with the necessary tools to succeed and to achieve their full potential.
The foundation focuses on all aspects of a child’s life up to age 21. The foundation provides support to qualifying charitable organizations that are involved in arts, education, health, and welfare services.
All Letters of Interest (LOI) must be received prior to March 31 of each year.
-Letters to chosen grant seekers with a request for a full proposal will be made prior to July 1 of each year.
-Full proposals must be received prior to August 1.
-Grants are awarded each year during the month of October.

Requirements
Grants are made only to organizations that are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The foundation prefers to fund organizations that do not receive wide public support.
Grants to each charity may not exceed $10,000.
Grants are to be fully utilized in the year following the grant.
Any amounts remaining after project completion must be returned to the foundation. rants are for one (1) year and not automatically renewable for multiple years.
A grant evaluation report must be submitted to the foundation upon completion of the project.
