About The Grant

The B.W. Bastian Foundation strives to build community and understanding by supporting local and national institutions. Financial support is directed to the Arts through educational outreach. A strong commitment is placed on programs and organizations that benefit, encourage, and preserve the rights of individuals, and promote equality for the LGBTQ+ community and HIV/AIDS programs.


What we fund:


  • Request for general operating support

  • Project support, specific programs, advocacy, and capacity building


Geographic Focus:


Primarily, we fund in the Intermountain West region of the United States which includes Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.  We also fund Nationally in the U. S.  (those projects of national scope and/or impact).


**We only accept solicited grant requests. You must first enquire by email or phone, before any submission.**

Requirements

  • Even if you have received funding from the Foundation, you must first enquire about the possibility of applying for a grant by email or telephone. 


  • Grants will only be made to non profit organizations or those entities that have a 501(C)3 tax status. 


  • Requires reports.
