The Sidney Stern Memorial Trust

Sidney Stern Grant

The Sidney Stern Memorial Trust supports non-profit organizations that have substantial and meaningful effect on their target populations and contribute to the general welfare. Because the Board cannot meet all demands on its resources, it gives priority to the following areas: education, youth summer camps, socio-economic equity and equality, food security, legal justice, medical research and care, arts and arts education, and scientific research.

The Board endeavors to support soundly managed charitable organizations that have a substantial effect on their target populations and contribute materially to the general welfare.

A completed grant proposal must be emailed to:

sternmemorialtrust@gmail.com.

(CC to: peterh@hawaii.edu)

After a grant has been approved, funds are forwarded to the grantee for use in accordance with the conditions of the request and with any other conditions that the Board may require. Subsequent significant changes in the approved purpose of the expenditure can be made only upon written authorization of the Board.
