Petco Love offers opportunities for organizations throughout the year. Organizations are invited to apply based on their organization type or primary purpose and mission.
Please submit your applications within the designated date windows to be considered for grant opportunities. Helping Heroes and pet cancer grant cycles are by invitation only. If eligible, we’ll reach out to you with instructions.
Disaster Relief: support will be considered for organizations directly affected by natural disasters such as fires, floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes as well as qualified first responders and disaster relief agencies.
Open year-round.
Access to Care: For spay and neuter clinics, full-service low-cost providers and TNR.
April 1 - April 30
Animal Welfare Organizations: For organizations whose primary purpose is sheltering and adoptions.
June 1- July 31
Love Stories: Share real stories of how pets have changed their adopters’ lives and earn up to $100,000.
August-October
Vaccinated & Loved: For organizations dedicated to providing free vaccine services to communities in need.
Open year-round.
The following organizations are eligible to apply:
Animal Control agencies & non-profit organizations responsible for animal control sheltering.
SPCA/humane societies and other non-profits that operate primarily out of an animal sheltering facility.
Non-profit organizations that are primarily foster-based rescues.
About The Grant
Requirements
An authorized member of an IRS-designated 501c3 nonprofit, or,
An official representative of a government agency who has access to detailed information about your organization’s operations and finances or,
A representative of a for-profit company having a nonprofit business purpose, directly related to animal welfare, that has been invited to apply, or is responding to a call for applications that allows for-profit companies to apply.
