About The Grant

The Marilyn S. Broad Foundation was established in 2001 by Marilyn in Washington, D.C. The Foundation took its current form at our first annual meeting in Andover, Virginia, in 2003.

Since then, the MSB Foundation has given over one million dollars in grants to over 20 charities focusing on healthcare, education, and alleviating poverty.

If your organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with programming in the areas of healthcare, education, and poverty, you can submit a request for a grant.

The Marilyn S. Broad Foundation prioritizes grants for smaller charities that lack the resources or media exposure of larger organizations.

Requirements

  • Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

  • Focus on healthcare, education, or poverty alleviation.
