About The Grant
The LGBTQ Community Fund for Northeast Florida’s goal is to support organizations that serve the LGBTQ community with a focus on building greater togetherness within our LGBTQ Communities.
LGBTQ Priority Populations
Priority Populations have been set in response to community-level data and analysis about the pressing needs of the LGBTQ community in Northeast Florida (please see Williams Institute Report) although projects benefiting other LGBTQ populations will be considered.

Black/African Americans
Gender Minorities
Youth
Grants will be considered for a wide variety of ideas. The following are examples of grants previously made to both LGBTQ-serving organizations and mainstream organizations wishing to advance work in the focus areas:
Emerging Leaders training programs for LGBTQ individuals
Family support projects
LGBTQ Sensitivity Training
LGBTQ Film Festival
LGBTQ Inclusion workshops to share best practices for an organization
Creating an LGBTQ Employee Resource Group in the nonprofit sector
Transgender Education & visibility Campaign for College Students
Nationally recognized public speakers on LGBTQ issues
Requirements
Nonprofit organizations with current 501(c)(3) status, and a 2-year work history.
Located in and serving at least one of these counties: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns.
Annual operating budget of $50,000 or above.
Organizations with budgets over $50,000 will be eligible for up to $10,000.
Organizations with budgets of $50,000 or below will be eligible for $5,000.
