About The Grant

James Avery Artisan Jewelry cares about our Customers, Associates, and the quality of life they enjoy in their communities. We recognize that sometimes the need is great, and we welcome charitable 501(c)(3) organizations to apply to our corporate grants program. These grants are intended to support funding needs of $10,000 or more.

James Avery Artisan Jewelry awards grants in support of nonprofit programs and projects that enrich quality of life in the following areas:

Light of the Artist: Arts and Makers

  • Arts Programming for Adults & Young Adults

  • Cultural Opportunities

  • Community Improvement

Fire of the Craftsman: Service to Community

  • Veteran Education & Employment

  • Veteran Health & Wellness

  • First Responder training & support programs

Beauty of the World Around Us: People & Wellness

  • Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging

  • Education & Development

  • Health & Wellness

There is no maximum amount we consider; most grants awarded are between $10,000 and $25,000. Requests for less than $10,000 should be submitted through Charitable Giving Fundraising Support application.

We give to as many community organizations as possible, but it is not feasible to fulfill every request. We only consider organizations and programs that:

  • Provide direct services to beneficiaries and focus on assisting communities we serve

  • Demonstrate effective organizational, programmatic and financial objective setting and management

  • Have clearly stated objectives, long-range plans and active participation from a governing board of directors

  • Provide evidence of broad-based support, with an accounting of funds received from public and private sources

  • Describe accurately and completely the target population to be served

  • Provide evidence that the proposed program/project is a response to a valid need

  • Provide documentation of previous program success if a continued program

  • Show program/project sustainability when the James Avery grant support ends
