About The Grant

The Innovating Worthy Projects Foundation addresses the need for organizations to provide financial help to quality special-needs children’s programs. The Foundation makes grants to organizations dedicated to serving developing innovative programs, disseminating ideas, or providing direct care or services for children with special needs, acute illnesses, or chronic disabilities.

We accept applications for financial assistance through December 31 of each year. The Board of Trustees will consider your application for approval only after the close of this submission period.

We typically send out notices regarding approval of financial assistance requests between May and July and fund approved grants between July and August. Please remember to consider the timing of the funding cycle when submitting your request for financial assistance.

The Foundation does not ordinarily fund salaries and professional fees, operating expenses or building programs.

Requirements

  • Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.

  • The applicant must file a final report, within sixty days of receiving the Grant, providing proof that the funding was used as provided in the Grant.
