About The Grant
The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation is committed to enacting meaningful and positive change in the lives of underserved youth and empowering the difference-makers who support them. The Foundation focuses on four strategic funding priorities: addressing educational barriers, improving health and social determinants, supporting workforce development, and strengthening community safety.
The Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations that expand their impact through both proven and innovative approaches, ensuring alignment with its mission and funding priorities.
Funding Priorities:
-Education
Supporting educational outcomes of underserved and disadvantaged children and youth, providing access to educational resources, peer support systems, and wrap-around services that ensure academic success.
-Health
Creating clinical-community linkages that address social determinants of health, including food insecurity, housing stability, safe communities, and access to mental health resources.
-Workforce Development
Developing career pathways through direct training and experiences that position youth for more equitable outcomes and inclusive access to the workforce.
-Safety
Providing a united response to catastrophic events that affect the safety, security and well-being of a community.
For grants over $25,000, contact our foundation for further discussion and/or to meet with a member of our community relations team.
