About The Grant
Global Down Syndrome Foundation Employment Award – This grant supports nonprofit organizations that create or expand meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome.
Award applications must be submitted with a specific employee or employment program in mind. Examples of successful awards include underwriting for a hire, job coach, expanded hours, and vendors who employ or are run by people with Down syndrome.
Awards of up to $2,000 help fund job coaching, paid positions, and inclusive workplace initiatives that promote independence and empowerment.
Requirements
Only organizations that are designated 501(c)(3) by the IRS can apply, or if located outside of the US, equivalent proof of government non-profit charitable status.
