About The Grant
Fleet of Angels grant or micro-grant, which is to be used for the purchase of emergency hay for equines in your care. In some cases, FOA is able to assist with funding for other critical needs such as grains for special needs equines, medical supplies, veterinary care, post-disaster facility repair supplies, etc.
Fleet of Angels typically offers micro-grants/grants for short-term emergency feed or care for approved equines. THIS GRANT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR EQUINES PURCHASED (aka 'BAILED') FROM KILL BUYERS, THEIR AUCTIONS, OR THEIR AGENTS. Rescues who regularly purchase/bail kill pen horses or have taken in more than a very small number of kill pen horses from other adopters do not qualify for Fleet of Angels' grants.
In some situations, we are able to help rescues secure additional grants or donations from other organizations. Please be as accurate as possible in the information you provide. Your financial information will not be requested in this application.
Requirements
Only 501(c)3 nonprofit rescues and sanctuaries in good standing with the IRS are eligible for listing.
