About The Grant
The GLOBAL Awards are an important benefit for global organization Members. They allow global and local member organizations to collaborate on programs that have a direct, positive impact for the people with Down syndrome we serve.
Award applications must be for a program, conference, workshop, or webinar related to research, medical care, and/or health outcome improvements for children and/or adults with Down syndrome. Target audiences may include people with Down syndrome, family members, and professionals.
The award application must be for a new or significant extension of an existing program, conference, workshop, or webinar related to research, medical care, and/or health and wellness programs.
Awards range from $5,000 to $10,000 each.
Awards are issued annually and there is no limit to consecutive funding.
Requirements
Applicant must be a GLOBAL Organization Member (to join or to learn more about membership details and benefits, go to globaldownsyndrome.org/global-membership/
Only organizations that are designated 501(c)(3) by the IRS can apply, or if located outside of the US, equivalent proof of government non-profit charitable status.
