BAE Systems’ Community Impact

BAE Systems’ Community Impact Grants Program supports nonprofit organizations located near its U.S. facilities that provide essential services to underserved communities.

Grants typically range from $1,000 to $5,000 and focus on areas such as human and social services, STEM education, veteran support, environmental sustainability, and disaster relief. While employee-nominated nonprofits receive priority, eligible organizations may apply directly.

  • What organizations are eligible for funding from the Community Impact program?

This program supports a wide range of causes, which include causes that our employees are passionate about addressing in their communities, such as:

  • Disaster response and preparedness programs. Including helping communities recover from the social and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Organizations and/or programs providing essential support services (i.e., those that provide food, clothing, housing, health care, education, childcare, and other pressing resources).

  • BIPOC-serving organizations and those programs advancing inclusion, diversity, and racial equity.

  • Community organizations are helping to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and navigate climate change risks.

-Programs should reach diverse and underserved groups within the community during times of need.

-BAE Systems will support local non-profits or programs where our investments have the greatest impact.
