Austin Community Foundation

Q2 Philanthropy Fund

The Q2 Philanthropy Fund awards grants to nonprofits across the globe to further its mission of building strong and diverse communities.


Successful grant applicants will receive an award letter and contract through email. The grant will be disbursed by ACF upon receipt of the signed contract.


The amount of a single grant awarded through the Q2 Philanthropy Fund ranges from $5,000-$25,000.


All grant recipients are required to submit a final report through the online portal within two months of the project’s completion date.


Our grant application process is managed by the Austin Community Foundation (ACF).

About The Grant

Requirements

  • In order to be considered eligible to apply for the Q2 Philanthropy Fund, an organization must: have tax-exempt status under Sections 501(c)(3) or 170(b)(1)(a)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code and units of government, or have a 501(c)(3) Fiscal Sponsor.


  • If located in the U.S., organizations must work in the following cities where Q2 has an office: Austin, TX; Cary, NC, Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA; Lincoln, NE; and Minneapolis, MN. For an organization outside the U.S. to be considered eligible, it must work in a location where Q2 has an established legal entity and employee presence, which includes London, UK; Sydney, Australia; Toronto, Canada; Bangalore, India; and Monterrey, Mexico City and Guadalajara, Mexico. 


  • For all areas, organizations must operate in or within 50 miles of the designated city.
