The Rees-Jones Foundation partners with nonprofit organizations in North Texas and around the world that defend the welfare of children suffering from abuse or neglect, afford relief to those facing mental health challenges, provide youth with opportunities for enrichment and character development, encourage healthy families and communities, enhance the lives of children and youth with disabilities, and promote the humane treatment of companion animals.

The Foundation supports primarily Christian organizations that serve children and families in Africa, Central America, and India in the following areas:
Chronic Health & Disability Services – focuses on programs that provide life-changing surgeries and therapies to children in Africa with physical and intellectual disabilities.
Human Rights & Child Protection– focuses on programs that serve youth and families in India through efforts to end bonded labor and human trafficking.
Water & Sanitation – focuses on programs that provide youth and families in Africa and Central America with access to safe water.
Youth & Family Empowerment – focuses on programs that provide youth and families in Africa with enrichment opportunities, such as financial literacy classes and family counseling.
The Foundation considers applications for international grants by invitation only.
Disability Inclusion
The foundation’s focus on chronic health and disability services is primarily:

Access to mental health care in diverse settings such as schools and primary care providers
The Foundation typically will not fund more than 25 percent of a project’s budget or more than 10 percent of an organization’s total annual operating budget.
New applicants should first submit a letter of inquiry to see if their organization might be a fit.
The Foundation only makes grants to organizations that serve children, youth, and families in North Texas. The Foundation makes International grants by invitation only.
The Foundation accepts grant applications throughout the year. However, it is a good idea to submit an application at least four months before the funding is needed.
Requirements
The Foundation distributes grants only to qualified public entities or organizations exempt from tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
