About The Grant
Meta Data Center Community Action Grants program provides direct funding to schools, registered nonprofits, and community organizations in locations where we have a data center.
These grants support projects that address critical community needs by:
Putting technology to use for community benefit.
Enabling people to build strong, sustainable communities.
Improving local science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education.
Must be delivering a project within one (1) of the following data center communities:
-Aiken, SC, USA: Aiken County
-Altoona, IA, USA: Cities served by the Southeast Polk and Bondurant-Farrar school districts
-Bowling Green, OH, USA: Wood County
-Cheyenne, WY, USA: Laramie County
-Dekalb, IL, USA: DeKalb County
-Eagle Mountain, UT, USA: Utah County
-Forest City, NC, USA: Cleveland, Henderson, McDowell, Rutherford, and Polk Counties
-Fort Worth, TX, USA: Tarrant County
-Gallatin, TN, USA: Sumner County

Requirements
A registered charitable organization as defined by the United States Internal Revenue Service, which includes registered 501(c)(3) organizations, public charities, public schools, government entities, US towns and municipalities, etc.
Grant applications will be accepted from eligible organizations in communities where Meta has a data center.
Must have valid local governmental registration as of the date of application and throughout the time of use of the Grant.
